One of the reasons we like the Vintage Hills community is that it is affordable and has a low tax rate. One of the things that you have to navigate in the Southern California real estate market is the different tax rates that can balloon your payment. In general, tax rates in Southern California can range from 1.1% to 2.2%. Luckily, Vintage Hills has a low tax rate of around 1.3%.
Another benefit of Vintage Hills is that many of the homes in the community have very nice, large lots. Because it is an older community, lots of at least 10,000 square feet with beautiful pools and landscapes are available.
Vintage Hills Amenities
The number of amenities available in most communities is one of the advantages of living in Temecula or Vintage Hills, in particular. Specifically, Vintage Hills has a clubhouse, two pools, basketball courts, and a lot of community events. Outside of the main pool, there is a public board that talks about all the events.
Vintage Hills Schools
One of the biggest reasons people tend to gravitate to either Temecula or Murrieta is the school district. Vintage Hills in particular has two schools that are very close and convenient for parents. They include Vintage Hills Elementary, Temecula Middle School, and Temecula Valley High School.
Vintage Hills Home Prices
I don’t usually talk about home prices in my blogs because they are constantly changing. Vintage Hills will be in the middle of the road in regard to home prices in Temecula. One of the things that really separates many of the Vintage Hills homes and would make them more expensive is the large lot and resort-style backyard some of them have. I have shown a few homes in Vintage Hills that have beautiful backyards and landscaping that include pools built in.
