The Promontory Community in Murrieta

The Promontory Community in Murrieta is located in a great area, right across the street from Roripaugh Ranch. This community is made up of 3 neighborhoods, which vary slightly from each other. The Promontory is in a great location just north of the Murrieta-Temecula border. They are currently in the process of building, and some units will be available for move-in as early as July. This area is set to be one of the new up-and-coming areas to live in because it is so close to the wineries and because it’s within the distinguished Temecula School District.

Bellevue

The homes located in the Bellevue neighborhood range from 2,603 to 3,629 sq. ft. and have up to 7 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. Optional features include a loft, study, casita, and master balcony. The homes in this neighborhood are ideal for larger families or those who want more space. Bellevue lot sizes can be as large as 5,000 square feet, and there are many spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The views from this community are absolutely breathtaking!

Brighton

The homes located in the Brighton neighborhood range from 2,200 to 2,732 sq. ft. and have 3 to 5 bedrooms with 4.5 bathrooms. These homes are in the mid-size range compared to the other two communities. They offer optional additions of an extra bedroom or “flex space,” which can be used however you like. In this particular community, there are five acres of private parks with seating areas and barbeques. These homes start in the low $600 range, and they were so popular that they sold out quickly. However, there is a priority wait list in order to get first dibs on any homes that do become available.

Calistoga

The homes located in the Calistoga neighborhood are the smallest of the three communities. They are up to 2,037 sq. ft., with a maximum of 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. These are great for smaller families who would still like to take advantage of living in this type of beautiful, convenient development. They do still offer an optional “flex space” and a master balcony. These start at $441,990, and they are releasing phase 12 in April for a July move-in!

No matter which neighborhood you choose, the Peninsula has so many amenities that can fit any lifestyle. This location is amazing for those who want all the great benefits of Temecula living at a lower price point. If you’re not sure which community is right for you, check out this video to see what they all look like.

Restaurants

There are tons of restaurants within a 15-minute drive from The Promontory Community in Murrieta. About 10 minutes away is the Promenade Temecula Center, which has an array of amazing options. One of the most popular restaurants is Bushfire Kitsch, which has delicious organic options. Also nearby is the Murrieta Town Center, which also has quite a few great options. Talk about the best of both worlds! Living off of Murrieta Hot Springs and being right on the edge of these two cities gives you access to a wide array of options to choose from.

Groceries and shopping

This community is only 4 minutes away from the nearest grocery stores located within the Plaza at Silver Hawk. This area has Vons, Aldi, and Albertsons. There is also a Costco located at the Promenade, which I highly recommend checking out for affordable gas prices. As for shopping, there are many great options at the Promenade Temecula. It is the city’s highest-rated shopping center on Yelp, and it’s less than 15 minutes away. This shopping center isn’t like an average mall; it has a wide variety of stores along with a beautiful outdoor shopping environment. Murrieta Town Center, Rancho Temecula Town Center, and The Commons are all within a 10-minute drive. If you’re looking for a place with eclectic shops, I highly recommend checking out Old Town Temecula. It’s about 15-20 minutes away, but has such a charm about it that you could spend hours just exploring the restaurants and shops!

Parks and Outdoor Recreation

One of the many benefits of living on The Promontory in Murrieta is the proximity to outdoor activities. Throughout the three neighborhoods, there are small community parks with playgrounds and seating areas. There are also tons of walking and hiking trails scattered around this area; if you’d like to see all of the trails, visit www.altrails.com.

Schools

The schools located in the districts of these three communities have very high ratings. Temecula Valley Unified School District is rated 9/10 and is generally known for having overall above-average public school ratings. Because this community is located so close to Temecula, the high school is actually located in Temecula instead of Murrieta. To the right, I have listed the schools along with their overall score.

These ratings come from many different places, and they should give you a good idea of how the schools compare to the average for the state. However, it seems to be the consensus that most schools in Temecula average on the higher side.
