Sommers Bend is a lovely and vibrant neighborhood in the city’s northeast. Residents of this charming neighborhood enjoy a peaceful and tranquil lifestyle surrounded by lush greenery, mountain views, and natural beauty. Sommers Bend’s homes range in size from small cottages to large estates and are built in a variety of architectural styles such as Colonial, Mediterranean, and Spanish. Many of the homes have stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Acacia, Upton, and Medley subcommunities have new home availability.
Sommers Bend’s location is one of its most appealing features. The community is close to a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, making it an ideal place for both families and working professionals. Another major attraction of Sommers Bend is the abundance of recreational opportunities in the area. There are several parks and playgrounds in the community, as well as a heated community pool, lap pool, spa, tot lot, workout room, and clubhouse.

Tax Rates and HOA Fees

The Summer’s Bend Community is going to have a tax rate of around 1.7. You have the base tax rate of Riverside County which is around 1% and then Mello Roos or Special Assessment taxes on top of that. generally speaking, tax rates in Temecula range from 1.3% up to 2%.
When it comes to the HOA, you are going to spend around $230 a month for Sommers Bend. Most Temecula communities have an HOA and often have great amenities as well. The Clubhouse and Barn Area

There’s also a section called the barn. This is one of the things that I found particularly intriguing and which distinguishes Sommers Bend from many other communities. All Sommers Bend residents are welcome to rent the barn. You must book ahead of time, but the possibilities in this area are limitless. It has a large outdoor area with seating, a bar, and a dance floor. The barn can comfortably seat 70 to 100 people. There is also a kitchen where food for the event can be prepared. The cost varies depending on whether or not you want alcohol. It will cost around $50 per hour to cover the entire area without alcohol. If you do want alcohol, they will have to hire security, which will cost an extra $70 per hour for the event. It is almost unheard of in today’s market to be able to rent out a beautiful space for less than $500 for 4-5 hours. Hiking, biking, and horseback riding are all popular activities at the nearby Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve.
Sommers Bend has a strong sense of community and camaraderie as well. There are regular neighborhood events and gatherings, such as block parties and community garage sales, that allow residents to meet their neighbors and form long-lasting friendships. Furthermore, the community has a neighborhood watch program, which aids in keeping residents safe and secure.

Schools in Temecula

Sommers Bend has some of the best schools in the area for families with children. Temecula Valley Unified School District is well-known for its excellent teachers and high-quality education, and several elementary, middle, and high schools are nearby.
Sommers Bend is a fantastic community that provides residents with a high quality of life. It’s no surprise that this neighborhood is so popular, given its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, abundance of recreational opportunities, and a strong sense of community.
