Temecula Rancho Highlands

We keep writing about and making videos about Rancho Highlands Temecula, which is one of our favorite places to live in Temecula. I feel that as a real estate broker, one of the best things I can do for prospective buyers is give them as much information as possible upfront and allow them to research areas without wasting tons of time. At the end of this blog post on Rancho Highlands Temecula, I will have a specific home search just for that area.

Rancho Highlands is made up of 408 homes built between the late 1980s and the mid-1990s. Home square footage ranges from 2100 to 3,000 sq ft. When making the video for the Rancho Highlands Community, I was surprised at how quiet it was being so close to the 15 freeway, which is a huge plus. Not only do you get the convenience of being 5 minutes from a major freeway, but you don’t have to deal with the car noise. I also liked the feel and layout of the Rancho Highlands community. When I compare it to newer track home areas, I like how the trees were mature, the grass was green, and it feels very spacious. I didn’t get that crowded track-home feeling like the builder was trying to squeeze in an extra 10 homes.

The Rancho Highlands Temecula Community’s low tax and HOA fees are another appealing features.I talked a lot about this in many of my other videos and blog posts. You have to be very careful in Southern California about which areas you plan to purchase in, especially if they are in newer developments. Depending on which community you live in, your taxes can literally double. An extra $400 in taxes a month can definitely impact your lifestyle, both positively and negatively. Do your research, and if an older community suits your needs and lifestyle, I would personally take a long, hard look at that option.

Here is another blog post about low-tax

HOA

The HOA is going to be around $90 a month, and with that comes pools, tennis courts, a spa, two separate parks, and basketball courts. This is another example of actually getting something for your monthly HOA. Again, I speak about this a lot, but many HOAs throughout the Southern California area are astronomical for what you get. I love seeing HOAs around a hundred dollars a month, Mark, that include beautiful pools, spas, and things to do with your family and friends. Rancho Highlands gives you this and much more.

Amenities and Convenience

I won’t go into great detail in regards to what Rancho Highlands has to offer (Google Maps shows everything), but you’re basically in the middle of Temecula. The Pechanga Casino, Old Town, parks, restaurants, and grocery stores are all literally minutes away. This is a great community and option for busy families or people looking for something easy and fun to do on a Friday or Saturday night.

Your Job and Commute From Temecula

Rancho Highlands Temecula would be a perfect area if you are working south of Temecula. Where traffic gets rough is where the 15 and the 215 meet, which is north of Rancho Highlands.
