Recent Blog

The Redhawk Temecula Community was established in the late 1980s by builders Centex, Lennar, Greystone, and Richmond America. The Redhawk Temecula Community is located right off the 15 Freeway and 79, which is almost at the border of San Diego County. Temecula is one of the most beautiful and affordable cities in all of Southern California. Redhawk is comprised of around 3,000 homes and includes an 18-hole golf course, dog parks, and plenty of recreational facilities for its residents. At the end of this blog post, I will have a specific home search just for the Redhawk Temecula Community. This home search is updated daily, straight from the local MLS.

Be Aware

Redhawk Temecula is comprised of multiple smaller sub-communities. You need to be aware that these sub-communities of the Redhawk Temecula development can be different in regards to HOA costs, whether they’re private or gated, and whether or not they are on the golf course. This blog post and video will go in-depth into the Redhawk Temecula community. I broke down each individual sub-community in Redhawk Temecula so you know what to expect.

Redhawk Golf Course

The Redhawk Golf Course plays over 7,000 yards from the tips, and it’s definitely a risk-reward type of golf course. Personally, I am a 15 handicap and find the course quite challenging. It’s definitely not a grip it and rip it course but more of a “strategically place your shot type track. The one thing I love about the RedHawk Golf Course is that you can go on GolfNow and find some great deals and usually play for under $45. If you decide to move to Redhawk Temecula Community, there is a men’s club you can join and also a social nine that they started every Thursday. It’s $25, and you play nine holes and get a drink ticket. It’s a great opportunity to meet local people in the Redhawk Temecula community.

The Communities in Redhawk, Temecula

You will enter the Redhawk Temecula Community off 79 and Redhawk Parkway (that is where we will start). You will notice it on a map, and it is laid out in the video. Redhawk Parkway is a large loop that follows the golf course. When you get to the south end of Redhawk Parkway, the golf course expands off the loop.

In regards to homes, price, lot size, and square feet will vary greatly throughout the community. If this area is of any interest to you, take a look down.

Rancho Almos

The first community that you get to off the 79, Rancho Alamos, has plenty of conveniences close by. Although it is not on the golf course, you have both Redhawk Elementary School and Earl Stanley Middle School within minutes. You also have Redhawk Community Park and Redhawk Dog Park within walking distance. Another benefit? Because you are so close to the 79 amenities, like grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants, they are within minutes. For busy families who hate traffic, this is a great benefit of the Rancho Alamos community. The HOA is a modest $35 a month.

Rancho Feliz

Moving south down Redhawk Parkway, you will come to Rancho Feliz. Very similar to Rancho Alamos, the HOA is going to be $35 a month, and you were close to both the middle and elementary schools. You have a small park right in your community called Sunset Park, and you were also getting closer to Patricia Birdsall Sports Park. If you enjoy the outdoors, have kids in sports, or play sports yourself, this is probably the biggest park in Temecula. It will be such a convenience to have this close by if you are into baseball, basketball, or football.

Rancho Serrano (Gated Community)

Next, we come to the first gated community, called Rancho Serrano. In the video, I give some drone shots of the community and give you an idea of which streets have golf course views and which don’t. The main street in the Rancho Serrano community that will have golf course views is Via Jaca. Some homes on Via Jaca have better views than others. There are two locations to enter the Rancho Serrano community; most people do so off Temecula Parkway. Homes are going to range in square footage from 2600 to 3100 square feet. There are two separate HOAs that combine to cost around $150 a month.

Rancho Sayante

Rancho Sayante in Redhawk, Temecula, is directly across from Rancho Serrano. And homes range from 2,000 to 3000 square feet. The HOA is going to run around $35 to $45 a month. You are not going to have a golf course view in Rancho Sayante, but you will be close to Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary and Paseo Gallante Park, which are both in the video.

The Collection

Moving down and going south of Redhawk Parkway, we come to the collection. This is actually one of my favorite smaller communities in regards to what the homes look like. I just like the style and build of homes. In addition, many have mountain or golf course views. Some of the benefits of the collection include being very close to Patricia Birdsall Sports Park and having less traffic in the collection. The HOA He’s going to charge around $35 a month.

Hemmingway

Hemingway is a small community moving back up north towards Temecula Parkway. Some homes have golf course views and will range from 2900 sq ft to 3500 sq ft. The HOA is going to run around $35 a month.

Renaissance in Redhawk

One of the biggest advantages of living in the Renaissance and Redhawk is the fact that you’re beside Patricia Birdsall Sports Park. If you have children or are involved in sports, Patricia Birdsall Sports Park is heaven. It’s probably one of the best sports parks in all of Temecula and the surrounding area. The HOA in Renaissance Redhawk is going to be $160 a month. Block sizes in the Renaissance are going to be much smaller. If you are not into landscaping or want to hire a gardener, this might be an area to look into.

Augusta

This is a beautiful community with large homes close to Redhawk Parkway. One of the streets that I absolutely love in Augusta is Camino Rubi. Camino Rubi is a quiet street with gorgeous views. A few of the benefits of living in Augusta include being close to Helen Hunt Elementary School and Patricia Birdsall Sports Park. It’s also going to be a little bit quieter in regards to traffic. The HOA in Augusta is $35 a month, and the homes are going to range from 2700 square feet to 3400 square feet.

Rancho Madera (Gated Community)

Rancho Madera is going to be directly across from the Augusta community. Just cross Redhawk Parkway, and you are at Rancho Madera! Rancho Madera is a gated community that has an HOA of $135 a month, and homes range in size from 2400 square feet to 3,700 square feet. Rancho Madera is a small gated community that is on the golf course and just off Redhawk Parkway, which makes it convenient when driving to grocery stores or restaurants off the 79.

Fairways (Gated Community)

Fairways is going to be the biggest gated community in all of Redhawk. It’s really hard to miss, as there are two main entrances right off Redhawk Parkway. The HOA is going to be $135 a month, and homes are going to range from 2400 square feet to 3,700 square feet. If you are a golfer and want to be involved in the golfing community, Fairways is going to be at the top of your list.

Eagle Point

Eagle Point is just across from the second entrance to Fairways. The HOA is going to run $35 a month, and homes are going to be from 2600 square feet to 3800 square feet. Many of these homes are not going to be on the golf course, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re looking for.

Terracina

Terracina is a newer community just down the street from Eagle Point on Redhawk Parkway. One of the things I noticed right away about Terracina was the view. Some of these homes have gorgeous views of mountains, and it truly is a unique community in the Redhawk development. You are not going to be on the golf course, but it’s definitely nice to look out your window at open space and mountains. Homes are going to range from 2500 square feet to 3,900 square feet, and the HOA is going to be $66 a month.

Eastridge

One of the reasons I love Eastridge is because of the views off Morning View Drive. If you like the Redhawk area and want spectacular views of the Temecula Valley, make sure to check out this street. Hopefully, there will be something for sale at the time. The HOA is going to run $35, and you will not be on the golf course.

Vintage (Gated)

Next up, we have Vintage, which is a gated community just off Vail Ranch Parkway. If you notice on a map, Redhawk Parkway is going to turn into Vaile Ranch Parkway. This is a very quiet community with an HOA of $110 a month and homes up to 4000 square feet. You do have Stephen Linen Park within walking distance of the Vintage community. It has a tot lot and green space for running or taking your dog.

Chelsea Estates and Auberry Place

I lumped the last two together, which are just off Butterfield Stage Ranch. To be totally honest, these were probably my two least favorite areas in the Redhawk community. There is a middle school close by, which is convenient, but I felt claustrophobic.

So there you have it, Redhawk Temecula. Hopefully, this blog and video gave you some insight into the Redhawk community in Temecula and what it has to offer its residents. If you are a golfer, this is probably where I would live in Temecula. You have close access to Redhawk, obviously, but there is also the casino close by, which has Journey and Temeku Hills just north. It’s a great area to live if you are a golfer. Some of these areas and homes have tremendous views of the Temecula Valley, and you are right in the middle of everything with tons of amenities close by. If you look on a map, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers, electronic stores, and home improvement stores are all closed and within a 5-minute drive of the Redhawk community.
