We will start off in the Harveston Lake Community, a charming community in Temecula’s wine region that combines the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape with modern conveniences. The neighborhood is a great choice for families with young children because it also has a lot of parks and playgrounds.

New Home Community in Temecula called Sommers Bend

Northeast of the city is home to the lovely and energetic neighborhood of Sommers Bend. Residents of this quaint community take pleasure in a quiet and tranquil lifestyle surrounded by lush vegetation, mountain views, and unspoiled beauty. Homes in Sommers Bend are constructed in a variety of architectural styles, including Spanish, Colonial, and Mediterranean, and range in size from tiny cottages to sizable estates. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys can be seen from many of the homes. There are new homes available in the subcommunities of Acacia, Upton, and Medley.
One of Sommers Bend’s best qualities is its location. The neighborhood is a great choice for families and working professionals because it is close to a variety of stores, eateries, and entertainment venues. The Temecula Valley Wine Country is also only a short drive away, giving locals the chance to taste some of the best wines the area has to offer.

The tax rate for the Summer’s Bend Community will be approximately 1.7. Riverside County has a base tax rate of about 1%, and on top of that, there are Mello Roos or Special Assessment taxes. Tax rates in Temecula typically range from 1.3% to 2%.
With regards to the HOA, Sommers Bend will cost you about $230 per month. Most communities in Temecula have a HOA and frequently have excellent amenities as well. One aspect that sets Temecula apart from many other Southern California cities is this. Regarding community amenities, you do get value for your money. The Barn and Clubhouse Area
The barn is another area that is present. This is one of the characteristics that set Sommers Bend apart from many other communities and that I found to be especially intriguing. The barn is available for rent to all Sommers Bend residents. Though reservations are required, there are countless options in this region. There is a dance floor, a bar, and a sizable outdoor area. 70 to 100 people can sit comfortably in the barn. Additionally, a kitchen is available where food for the event can be made. Depending on whether you want alcohol, the price varies. To cover the entire area without alcohol will run about $50 per hour. If you do want alcohol, they will need to hire security, which will increase the event’s cost by an additional $70 per hour. Today’s market makes it almost unheard of to be able to rent out a lovely space for less than $500 for 4-5 hours. The nearby Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve offers a variety of popular activities, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
Additionally, there is a strong sense of belonging and camaraderie in Sommers Bend. Residents can meet their neighbors and create lifelong friendships at frequent neighborhood events and gatherings, like block parties and neighborhood garage sales. The neighborhood watch program in the community also helps to keep residents safe and secure.
Education in Temecula
For families with children, Sommers Bend is home to some of the best schools in the region. Numerous elementary, middle, and high schools are close by, and the Temecula Valley Unified School District is well known for its excellent teachers and high-quality instruction.

The Meadowview Community is a picture-perfect rural community with breathtaking views and undulating hills. It has 900 inhabitants and is spread out over 1,175 acres, forming a tight-knit and distinctive equestrian community. The HOA fee is $239 per quarter, which gives residents access to first-rate amenities like a clubhouse, two heated swimming pools, a spa, tennis, and basketball courts, an equestrian center, a park with a picnic area, and a tot lot. The neighborhood has very low tax rates. The 23 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails in Meadowview Community give residents plenty of chances to stay active and take in nature.
The custom-built homes in the Meadowview neighborhood are among its most alluring features. The majority of houses have sizable gardens, lovely landscapes, and even stables on the property. Wolf Creek Community
In Southern California, Wolf Creek Temecula is a lovely neighborhood close to the 15 Freeway and the 79 South. It is situated in the southern part of Temecula. The development of Wolf Creek Temecula was finished around 2013. It was founded in 2003. The 1800 homes were constructed by Standard Pacific, Woodside Homes, and William Lyons Homes and range in size from 2,000 square feet to 4,000 square feet.
Taxes will be between 1.8% and 1.9%, and HOA dues will be about $45 per month. You can get a sense of why South Temecula is beautiful by driving through the Wolf Creek neighborhood. Wolf Creek has everything you need, close by, including golf courses, a library, nearby shopping, and neighborhood parks.
Pala Community Park, Kent Hindergart Park, Wolf Creek Park, and Patricia Birdsall Sports Park are parks close to Wolf Creek Temecula.
How come we enjoy Wolf Creek?
All over Southern California, we have lived. Riverside, Huntington Beach, San Clemente, Newport Beach, and now Temecula. We adore Wolf Creek Temecula because of its beauty and convenience, and it is located in Temecula’s southern region. Within a short distance, there are parks, restaurants, shops, golf courses, and even a casino. In comparison to other areas further east, your proximity to the 15 Freeway will shorten commute times.
Additionally, Old Town Temecula is a wonderful place to spend some time. Everyone can find something to do in Old Town, whether it’s an evening out or an afternoon stroll.
Given the occasionally congested traffic in Southern California, many people consider it to be a huge advantage to live close to amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, fitness centers, and public parks. During rush hour, a five-mile drive can become a 45-minute ordeal. How simple it is to drive to the grocery store or go out to eat in Wolf Creek without wanting to rip your hair out in traffic is one of the things we love about it.
Within one mile of Wolf Creek are the following grocery stores: Sprouts, Stater Brothers, Island Pacific Market, Albertsons, Walmart, and Ralph’s.
We decided it would be a good idea to include some of our favorite cuisines and eateries that are nearby Wolf Creek and only a 5-minute drive away.
In & Out Burgers, Rubio’s, The Habit Burger Grill, and even Ramen Noodles, which is Jake’s Rockin Ramen, are quick fast-food restaurants. In Temecula, which is only a short distance from Wolf Creek, Epic Wings has the best reviews if you like wings.
The Pechanga Resort & Casino is a good place to go on occasion if you’re looking for more of a night out. The casino also has restaurants, but we’ve had the best food experiences at some of the local eateries.
Old Town Temecula is a separate blog post all on its own, but it’s a lovely neighborhood nearby Wolf Creek that always seems to be busy. The Pala Community Park has excellent amenities, including lit tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, restrooms, barbecues, and a tot lot.
The Kent Hindergardt Memorial Park was created as a memorial to the Riverside County Sheriff who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 1993. The park has a playground for children, restrooms, and plenty of parking. Weekends can be busy, but it’s still worthwhile to visit. Additionally, there are places where you can run with your dog, which is a huge benefit for dog owners.
In terms of sports and activities, Patricia Birdsall Sports Park is a stunning park with pretty much everything you could want. There are 4 lighted synthetic turf soccer fields, 4 lighted basketball courts, and 4 lighted baseball diamonds there. Additionally, it has picnic areas, drinking fountains, barbecues, and tot lots. This is a great place if you want to take the kids someplace cheap for the afternoon. Bring a soccer ball, pack a picnic, and go outside to play.
2 community schools in Wolf Creek
We enter the school ratings on all of our community pages. How much significance do I accord to these ratings? To be completely honest, I have no idea. Everyone, I’m sure, has their own experiences with teachers, amenities, settings, and the kinds of students your child will be surrounded by. These rankings, which come from various websites, should give you a general idea of how they stack up against the national average.
Luiseno Elementary School is an elementary school located at 45754 Wolf Creek Drive in Temecula, California 92592.
Elementary School in Luiseno has a 9/10 overall rating. This simply indicates that the majority of the students are performing at or above grade level, which is far and above the State average. The main community in the South of Temecula is Redhawk.
Redhawk Temecula Neighborhood
At the end of the 1980s, Centex, Lennar, Greystone, and Richmond America constructed Redhawk Temecula Community. Right off the 15 Freeway and the 79, the Redhawk Temecula Community is close to the San Diego County line. One of Southern California’s most attractive and reasonably priced cities is Temecula. Redhawk has about 3,000 houses. Its residents can enjoy an 18-hole golf course, dog parks, and many other entertaining activities. I’ll have a specific home search for the Redhawk Temecula Community at the end of this blog post. The local MLS is used to update this home search every day.
The Redhawk Temecula neighborhood is divided into several smaller subdivisions. You should be aware that the Redhawk Temecula subdivision’s sub-communities can vary in terms of HOA fees, whether they are private or gated, and whether they are located on a golf course. The Redhawk Temecula neighborhood will be covered in detail in both this blog post and this video. In Redhawk Temecula, I described each distinct sub-community in detail so you would know what to anticipate.
Redhawk Golf Course
The Redhawk Golf Course is a risk-reward type of golf course, measuring more than 7,000 yards from the tips. Since I have a 15 handicap, I find the course to be quite difficult. It’s a “strategically place your shot” track rather than a “grip it and rip it” course. One aspect of the RedHawk Golf Course that I really like is that you can usually play for under $45 by visiting GolfNow. If you choose to relocate to Redhawk Temecula Community, you can join the men’s club and the weekly social nine that they started. You play nine holes and receive a drink ticket for $25. It’s a great way to get to know members of the Redhawk Temecula neighborhood.
The Neighborhoods of Redhawk Temecula
You can enter the Redhawk Temecula Community by entering the area via the 79 and Redhawk Parkway (where we’ll start). It is depicted in the video and on a map, respectively. The golf course is followed by a sizable loop known as Redhawk Parkway. The golf course extends off the loop as you approach Redhawk Parkway’s southern terminus.
The first neighborhood off the 79, Rancho Alamos, has a number of conveniences close by. Earl Stanley Middle School and Redhawk Elementary School are both nearby, despite not being on the golf course. Redhawk Community Park and Redhawk Dog Park are also accessible on foot. Another advantage? You can easily walk to any of the 79 nearby amenities, including restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. This is a fantastic perk of living in Rancho Alamos for busy families who detest traffic. The HOA costs only $35 per month.
As you travel south on Redhawk Parkway, Rancho Feliz will be reached. You were close to both the middle and elementary schools, the HOA will cost $35 per month, and Rancho Alamos-like amenities are available. In addition to Patricia Birdsall Sports Park, you also have a small park in your neighborhood called Sunset Park. This is likely the largest park in Temecula if you like the outdoors, have children who play sports, or participate in sports yourself. If you enjoy baseball, basketball, or football, having this nearby will be a huge convenience.
Serrano Ranch (Gated Community)
Next, we reach Rancho Serrano, the first gated community. I demonstrate in the video which streets have views of the golf course and which don’t using drone footage of the neighborhood. Via Jaca is the main street in the Rancho Serrano neighborhood with views of the golf course. On Via Jaca, some houses have more impressive views than others. There are two entrances to the Rancho Serrano neighborhood; the majority of visitors enter off Temecula Parkway. The square footage of the homes will range from 2600 to 3100 square feet. There are two different HOAs, and their combined monthly dues come to about $150.
Directly across from Rancho Serrano in Redhawk Temecula is Rancho Sayante. The homes are between 2,000 and 3000 square feet in size. The HOA will cost between $35 and $45 per month. Rancho Sayante won’t give you a view of a golf course, but it will put you close to Paseo Gallante Park and Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary, which are both featured in the video.
South of Redhawk Parkway, we descend and travel until we reach the Collection. In terms of how the homes look, this is actually one of my favorite smaller communities. I simply like the design and construction of homes. Many also offer views of golf courses or mountains. Being close to Patricia Birdsall Sports Park and having less traffic in the collection are just a couple of the advantages of the collection. This HOA He will earn about $35 per month.
A small town called Hemingway is located back up north, toward Temecula Parkway. Some houses are between 2900 and 3500 square feet in size and have views of golf courses. The monthly HOA dues will be about $35.
Renaissance in Redhawk
The proximity of Patricia Birdsall Sports Park to the Renaissance and Redhawk neighborhoods is one of their greatest benefits. Patricia Birdsall Sports Park is heaven if you have kids or play sports. It’s probably one of Temecula and the neighborhood’s top sports parks. The Renaissance Redhawk HOA will cost $160 per month. The Renaissance will feature much smaller block sizes. This might be something to consider if you don’t like landscaping or want to hire a gardener.
Large homes can be found in this lovely neighborhood close to Redhawk Parkway. Camino Rubi is one of the streets in Augusta that I adore most. Stunning views can be found on Camino Rubi, a peaceful street. Living in Augusta has its advantages, including being close to Patricia Birdsall Sports Park and Helen Hunt Elementary School. Additionally, there will be a slight decrease in traffic noise. The homes in Augusta will be between 2700 and 3400 square feet in size, and the HOA is $35 per month.
Rancho Madera (Gated Community)
The Augusta neighborhood will be directly across from Rancho Madera. You only need to cross Redhawk Parkway to get to Rancho Madera! Homes in the gated neighborhood of Rancho Madera range in size from 2400 square feet to 3,700 square feet, and the HOA dues are $135 per month. The location of Rancho Madera, a small gated community on the golf course and close to Redhawk Parkway, makes it convenient for people traveling to restaurants or grocery stores off the 79.
Fairways (gated community) (gated community)
The largest gated community in Redhawk will be called Fairways. There are two main entrances right off Redhawk Parkway, making it very difficult to miss. The HOA will cost $135 per month, and the size of the homes will range from 2400 to 3,700 square feet. Fairways should be at the top of your list if you play golf and want to get involved in the golf world.
Eagle Point is directly across from Fairways’ second entrance. The homes will be between 2600 and 3800 square feet in size, and the HOA will cost $35 a month. Depending on what you’re looking for, the fact that many of these homes won’t be on golf courses may be a plus or a drawback.
At the end of Redhawk Parkway, just past Eagle Point, is a more recent neighborhood called Terracina. One of the first things I noticed about Terracina was the views. The Redhawk community is truly unique, and some of these homes have stunning mountain views. Although you won’t be playing golf, it’s still pleasant to look out your window at the countryside and mountains. The size of the homes will range from 2,500 to 3,900 square feet, and the HOA fee will be $66 per month.
The views off Morning View Drive are one of the things that make Eastridge so special to me. Check out this street if you enjoy the Redhawk neighborhood and want breathtaking views of the Temecula Valley. Hopefully something will be offered for sale then. You’ll have to pay $35 to the HOA in order to access the golf course.
Next up is Vintage, a gated neighborhood located just off Vail Ranch Parkway. Redhawk Parkway will change into Vaile Ranch Parkway, as shown on a map. Homes here can be up to 4000 square feet in size, and there is a $110 monthly HOA fee. Stephen Linen Park is accessible by foot from the Vintage neighborhood. There is a tot lot and a large green area where you can run or walk your dog.
Auberry Place and Chelsea Estates
The last two, which are close to Butterfield Stage Ranch, I combined. These were probably my two least favorite locations in the Redhawk neighborhood, to be completely honest. Although it’s convenient that a middle school is nearby, I felt constricted.
Redhawk is where I would live in Temecula if I were a golfer. There is also a casino nearby, with Journey and Temeku Hills to the north. If you enjoy playing golf, this is a great area to call home. Some of these neighborhoods and residences have stunning views of the Temecula Valley and put you in the heart of everything with a ton of amenities nearby.
